With MyFreeTaxes you have the option to file your taxes yourself, or to have your taxes prepared for you online. Both the self-filing and preparation options offer free filing in both English and Spanish.

Do I qualify?

To use MyFreeTaxes, you must meet the following criteria:

• Make less than $67,000 (if opting to have taxes prepared for you)
• No rental income (from a property you own)
• Have not filed for bankruptcy in the last year
• No clergy income
• If married, filing jointly
• No sales of cryptocurrency
• Had no cancelation of debt outside of non-business credit cards
• If self-employed, no business related expenses over $35,000 or businesses with employees, inventory, business property, net loss, or depreciating assets.
